Koshish

With the objective of enhancing knowledge and skills of regional level human rights defenders and health workers for the protection and promotion of human rights of people having mental health problems, National Human Rights Commission jointly with KOSHISH in the support of UNDP and Himal Partner organized the training on “Mental Health and Human Rights” on  5th to 7th September 2017.

A total number of 25 participants from 10 districts, 9 government and 16 non government organizations from Rolpa, Rukum, Pyuthan, Salyan, Dang, Bardiya, Banke, Jajarkot, Surkhet and  Dailekh of Mid Western Development Region participated in the training program.

The program concluded with the entire participants releasing the eights points of Nepalgunj commitments and also made the personal and organizational commitments for the continuous involvement on mental health and human rights in their respective zone.
