Awareness and fundraising program

A fundraising and awareness program was carried on by friends of KOSHISH (Jeneatte and Tia) on 1st June 2014, Sunday at Hannah's Cafe, Bhanimandal, Lalitpur. Space for the program was provided by Hannah's Cafe. There were stalls of Pashmina Shawl, Clothes and Jam. A stall of Bracelets and Necklaces made by the women with mental illness residing in KOSHISH Transit Home was also kept there. The encouraging number of people visited the stalls and bought the products. The stall keepers were willing to donate a certain percent of amount to the Transit Home of KOSHISH by sales of their products. Umrao Pashmina Pvt. Ltd. donated cent percent (NRs.20,000/-) amount of their sales to KOSHISH. Other three stalls owner donated a sum of NRs. 22,600/- altogether.

KOSHISH would like to thank Jeneatte, Tia and Hannah's Cafe family for their active initiation and support to organize this fundraising activity. Our special thanks to Umrao Pashmina Pvt. Ltd. and other three stalls for the donation.
